PhD Student
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, having previously earned a BS in Exercise Science and a MS in Computer Science. As a Research Assistant, I specialize in applying machine learning techniques to address complex healthcare challenges. My experience prior to joining the Shepherd Research Lab includes eight years as a military officer managing IT operations and contributing to projects at Hawaii Digital Health Lab, where I contributed to projects focused on developing machine learning-based screening tools for autism and Parkinson’s Disease. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy distance running, weightlifting, and exploring new coffee shops.
