Nusrat Zaman Zemi
Research Associate, UH Cancer Center
Originally from Bangladesh, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, completed at the Shepherd Research Lab. Currently, I work as a Research Associate at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center, where my research focuses on developing quantitative and computational approaches that turn complex healthcare data into reliable insight for clinical decision-making. I am broadly interested in methods that support earlier detection and more equitable health outcomes. Besides research, I enjoy hiking, photography, playing badminton and tennis, and exploring new places and restaurants.
