A research team from the University of Hawaiʻi Cancer Center is working to enhance accuracy in determining breast cancer risk for women. The Hawaiʻi and Pacific Islands Mammography Registry (HIPIMR) launched a new questionnaire designed to standardize breast-health information collected at mammography clinics around Hawaiʻi and the U.S. Affiliated Pacific Islands.
The HIPIMR Breast Health Questionnaire represents an effort to improve how patient data is gathered and assessed across imaging facilities in the region.
