Blood draws are part of the Shape Up! Kids and Adults protocols.

What is a blood draw?

A blood draw collects a blood sample for analysis. Shape Up! analyzes the following markers:

- Red Blood Cells - White Blood Cells - Hemoglobin - Hematocrit - Platelet Count - Glucose - HbA1c - Insulin - Triglycerides - HDLC - Total Cholesterol - Alanine Transaminase - Albumin - Alkaline Phosphatase - GGT - Total Bilirubin - Total Protein - Iron - Phosphorus - Blood Urea Nitrogen - Uric Acid - Amylase - Calcium - Magnesium - Chloride - CO2 - Sodium

What to expect

A trained phlebotomist locates a vein, cleans the area with an alcohol pad, applies a tourniquet around your upper arm, and inserts the needle. Participants receive optional blood-marker reports following the procedure.
